позволяющей выражать свое мнение по затронутой проблеме;
– развитие интереса к предмету.

– знаний реалий страны изучаемого языка;

problem starts here. Cars burn petrol, factories and power stations burn coal
and emit 1)………………………. So, the air that we breathe becomes polluted. This
pollution is gathered in clouds and with the oxygen and water in the atmosphere
it becomes 2)………... The winds carry the polluted clouds across long
distances far away. When it rains, this pollution lands on trees, 3)………….,

there is actually “acid fog”, “snow” and “sleet” in the same way!
When
acid rain falls into lakes, streams, rivers and seas, they become toxic. This

Acid rain also causes serious damage to important buildings and objects.

Hi!
How are you? We 1)learn/have been learning about pollution at school
this week and how it destroys the natural 2)areas/habitats of many
animals. We 3) have to/ do not have to protect these endangered species
before they disappear altogether. For example, acid rain 4) damages/ has
been damaging the environment for years. It starts with the smoke from
power 5)station/factories and the fumes from car exhausts! The clouds
take in the smoke and then it rains down on us! We 6)have to/don't have to
do much to reduce pollution. We can do little things like walking to school
instead of taking the bus, and recycling our rubbish. The government 7) has
